Antwon Treze Qualls-Thompson Obituary (2023)

Antwon Treze Qualls-Thompson passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 22. He was born in Yakima, Washington, on August 23, 2001. He was raised by his mother and grandparents in Washington, and later moved to Colorado with his partner, where they had and raised a beautiful son. He was a big part of the Yakima community and loved to help young children and the elderly. He was a part of the NAACP youth council. He worked as an independent contractor and liked to be his own boss. Antwon enjoyed making music and art and was big on spirituality and reading books that helped him better himself and his loved ones. Antwon leaves behind his partner Gladis Padilla, his son, Zamir Thompson, mother, Lisa Thompson-Mix (Kevin), grandfather, Ray Thompson, sister, Keyonna Mix-Thompson, and many more extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Dean Thompson. A Viewing will be held on Thursday October 5, 2023, from 4:00-7:00pm, at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA).
