Claudette Gallager

Claudette Marie Gallagher, born June 5th 1950, passed away January 26th 2016 at Cottage in the Meadow after an extended illness.
Claudette enjoyed her primary and mutual classes growing up in the church, she also enjoyed working with mom in the church library. She loved to crochet and make beautiful items for everyone. Claudette was always there for mom and dad, ready to give a helping hand whenever needed.
She married Francis Michael Gallagher March 21st 1970; they never had children of their own, but their home was always filled with children and teenagers who thought of Claudette and Michael as their family. She was a wonderful sister and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Louise Goddard. She leaves behind her loving husband Francis Michael Gallagher of 46 years, her father Murl Goddard and 4 sisters, Paulette Louise Smith, Carolyn Merle Goddard-Pierson, Nancy Dale Sullivan and Mary Elizabeth Goddard. She also had several nieces and nephews. We are so thankful for her caregivers: Ariana Aparicio, Amber Thompson, and Rhonda Prouse, they were not just caregivers but her friends too. A very special thank you to Vicki Torson, her best friend, who took such good care of her and was always there for her. There will be a memorial service Saturday January 30th 2016 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4307 Englewood Avenue. Reception to follow at the church.
