Cleveland Michael Obituary (1937

Cleve Michael Jr., 79 of Yakima, peacefully joined his creator on January 24, 2017. He was born in Crosby, Mississippi on June 8, 1937. He worked at Boise Cascade for many years. He travelled to the Philippines to marry his loving wife "Mar" on November 12, 1980, in the beautiful island of Bohol, Philippines. He is survived by his loving wife: Marciana "Mar" Michael; daughter: Frances Etheridge of Crosby, Mississippi: and his grandchildren and many cousins. He was preceded in death by parents: Cleve Michael Sr. and Courtney Michael. Cleve will be missed very much by his family and friends. His loving kindness and thoughtfulness will always be in our hearts. Eternal rest grant unto him Lord and let your perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Yakima. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m., Monday, January 30, 2017 with a rosary service at 5:30 p.m. both will be held at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff, physicians and nurses at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital. Our warmest gratitude to the loving friends who came to visit Cleve especially Jack, Mike & Angela, Lilia & Oscar, Terry, Kathy, Emma, Loreta, Fr. Peter, and Fr. Darren and to the many friends who came to visit who supported us during this time.
