Edwin Basil Vance Obituary (2023)

Edwin Basil Vance entered this world on May 20, 1941. He went to be with his Lord on December 11, 2023. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from Naches Valley High School in 1959. Ed owned and operated Vance Equipment, Parts and Supply and worked there until his retirement. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trips to the mountains, especially "The Cove." He loved traveling, and once won a trip from Stihl Chainsaw Company to Germany and Switzerland, of which he spoke of often. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Myron and Doris Gaynell (Arnold) Vance, his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Jean (Conner) Vance and sister, Marsha Wallingford. He is survived by daughter Linda Denny, son Michael Vance, brother Leonard Vance, lifelong friends, Sam and Allene Bigby, his grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He loved all his grandchildren, nieces and nephews and friends, and everyone who knew him loved him. He will be forever missed but his memories forever be in our hearts.
