Floyd Ray Richardson Obituary (2025)

Floyd Richardson, born February 6, 1930, in Yellville, Arkansas, to Clarence and Mary Richardson, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025, in Yakima, Washington, surrounded by his loving wife, son, and family. Floyd was married to Ina Richardson for 56 years, sharing a lifetime of love, memories, and experiences. He was the proud father of two children, Larry (Donna) and Linda Richardson, and a devoted grandfather and great-grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always cherish his legacy. Floyd worked in the agricultural industry for over 35 years, serving as a plant supervisor for Snokist Growers. His dedication to his work and his strong work ethic were qualities that he carried throughout his life. Outside of his career, Floyd loved spending time with his wife and family, gardening, reading, and tackling home improvement projects. Floyd is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Richardson, four sisters (Joye, Gaye, Geneva, Terry) and a beloved granddaughter (Destiny). He is survived by his wife, Ina, his children, Larry (Donna) and Linda, his sister, Helen, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his brother-in-law, Virgil (Donna), many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends who will miss him deeply. Ina Richardson would like to thank the Hospice team for their unwavering care and support during Floyd's final days. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication made all the difference in providing comfort and dignity in his last moments. Ina also wanted to extend a special heartfelt thanks to Floyd's son, Larry (Donna), his children, and grandchildren for being there to offer support, love, and encouragement during this time.
