Ivan Allen Hogg

Ivan Allen Hogg age 86 of Selah passed away at home surrounded by his family on November 29, 2017.
Ivan was born to Bryan and Erma Hogg November 15, 1931 in Leedy, Oklahoma. He married Margie Weathers in 1976 and they began their journey together. Their union formed the family of 6 girls and 2 boys.
He worked hard during his life and spent 41 yrs. at Weyerhaeuser providing for his bunch. There was never a dull moment while with Ivan; he was an avid storyteller with an infectious laugh. He never knew a stranger and enjoyed visiting with whoever crossed his path.
He was active in the Lower Naches Grange and made many friends during fair time. Music was a favorite of his and he ran a local Karaoke Company for 15 yrs. He and Margie loved to cut a rug at the American Legion and were never seen apart-camping-fishing-the Casino they were always together. His children, grandkids, and great grandkids were a joy to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Bryan and Erma Hogg, siblings Frank Hogg and Berdine Williams, his daughter Nancy Phillips, and granddaughter Chelsea Garner.
He is survived by his wife Margie Hogg, and children Chris Hogg, Rita Lockhart, Judy Cervantes, Lori Hogg, Norman Weathers, Angela (Marc) Harris, and Teri (Ed) Hixson, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held December 16, 2017, at Lower Naches Grange (Upper Floor) 1800 Old Naches Hwy, from 1pm-4pm.
