Jack L. Thrasher

Jack went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2023. He was an enrolled member of the Klamath Tribe and a descendant of the Colville Tribe. Jack was born on April 15, 1971, to the late Jack L. Thrasher Sr. and Martina "Dovey" Ives-Thrasher. Jack was husband to Taylor Nell and father to Taylor Darla Lynne Thrasher.

He was known as Captain Jack to many. His lifes story had many layers, bringing joy in peoples lives. Jack loved talking to people, which led him to his lifes work. That said, he worked in auto sales for many years, then ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing Captain Jacks Limousine services. He started a vendor business, traveling with his family to Native American powwows and other gatherings.

Jack was a beloved Son, Brother, Father, Husband, Cousin, and Friend. He is survived by his wife, Taylor, daughter, little "Sweet Pea" Jaqueline, his mother, Martina "Dovey" Ives-Thrasher, brothers, Marion Clayton Thrasher, and Jeffery Mark Thrasher, his Uncles and Aunts, Bill (aunt Sharon) Ives, Clara Silvas, James F. Ives, Carol Pagodwin, Gary F. (aunt Charlene) Ives, Benjamin J. Ives, Edward Quintasket, Nancy Gabriel, Jim (aunt Darla) Waldorf, and Bob (aunt Bonnie) Burglund, and numerous cousins. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Jack L. Thrasher Sr., paternal grandparents, Eule Clayton and Florine Wilson Thrasher, maternal grandparents, Marion F. and Inez Ives, and Grandma Martina J. Gray.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and financial contributions that have been donated to complete Jacks journey. Thank you to the Klamath Tribe for their financial support to make this possible.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10:00am, at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901). A Reception will follow.
