Jacquelyn Finnbogason

YAKIMA - Jacqueline Finnbogason, 74, of Yakima died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born March 19, 1939 to Julian E. and Wyllamae Sorrell in Rocky Ford, CO.

She married Thorbjorn Finnbogason on June 27, 1986. Jackie loved gardening, cooking, country music and reading about archeology and history. Her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren, great grandchildren and neighborhood kids.
Jackie is survived by her husband Thorbjorn, her children from a previous marriage to Victor Flores are Rick Flores, Vicky Flores, Bonita Wise and Tammy Flores; sisters Barbara Canter, Linda Sorrell and Lola Orr; grandchildren Lynda Ralston, Justin LaFray, Heidi Washam, Victor Gutierrez, Josh Flores, Joseph Wells and Miranda Flores; great grandchildren Jackie Stroud, Austin Stroud, Morgan Stroud, Leslie Stroud, Clayton Stroud, Hailey LaFray, Jared LaFray, DJ Washam, and Brady Washam.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers David Sorrell, Neal Sorrell and Bud Sorrell; sisters Jimmeylea Irish and Judy Moser.

Viewing will be Monday, February 10, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors, 201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima. Services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. also at Shaw & Sons and concluding at Tahoma cemetery.
