John Howard Warrington

John Howard Warrington, age 72 went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2020 in Yakima, WA. He was born on June 14, 1947 in Vancouver, WA to Georgia Ann Suttels and Howard Warrington.

John enlisted in the Marine Corps at 19 years old and later attended Seattle Bible College. Johns dad was a minister and missionary and he went with him on the mission field to Mexico along with his 10 brothers and sisters.

In 1991, John married Susan Zappala in Baltimore, MD. He was a pastor and bible teacher. He supported his mission by painting houses, commercial fishing, and photography.

John pastored in Seattle, WA and was associate pastor at Living Tabernacle Church in Baltimore, MD. He played guitar, wrote music, and sang gospel music. He took groups of believers to college campuses and to the street corners to win the lost to Jesus. He would cook and prepare meals for the homeless once a week and would play his guitar and give the gospel message. John also invested in a large tent in order to have gospel meetings from Louisville, Kentucky to the Baltimore area, He hosted a gospel radio broadcast with a call-in session to reach the lost. John did photography for weddings at no cost for people who had limited funds. His hobbies were fishing with Pastor John and camping and fishing with his wife, Susan.

John is survived by his children: Joseph, Samuel, Thomas, and Rebecca; one granddaughter and siblings: Louanne Fernandez, William Louis Kramer, and Robert James Kramer.

John will be greatly missed by his wife and friends. Until we meet again on the other side!
