JuanCarlos Zavala Obituary (1989

JuanCarlos Jose Zavala, loving father, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at the age of 32. Carlos was born July 29, 1989, to Virginia Zavala (Sanchez) and Apolinar Zavala in Yakima, WA where he attended school and resided his entire life. Carlos welcomed his only son Julian in June 2019. His son was his pride and joy, and he was so excited to be a father and show his son all about life. Carlos was an amazing son, brother, and friend, if you ever need anything, no matter what, no matter where, he would be there for you. Carlos truly lived life to the fullest, always surrounded by family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and was full of laughter, listening to music, and cracking jokes. Carlos will be especially missed for his beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and enormous heart. He always had to be the center of attention, being the baby of the family and was known to be the life of the party. His presence and confidence will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Carlos is survived by his son Julian, his father Apolinar, his siblings MaryAnn Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Gilberto Robles, Rosalinda Robles Martinez, Regina Robles, and Apolinar "Polo" Zavala. He is also survived by his uncle Johnny Sanchez, aunt Vicky Flores, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Zavala, brothers Regino Camacho Robles Jr and Apolinar "Chale" Zavala, grandparents Isidoro and Julia Sanchez, aunts Rosemary Sanchez and Carmen Barrientos, and uncle Isidoro Sanchez Jr. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, from 5:00-7:00pm at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901) with a Rosary beginning at 5:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the following Friday, July 8, 2022, at 10:00am at St. Pauls Cathedral. Burial will follow immediately at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. There will be a Celebration of Life following the burial to gather and share memories at the St. Pauls Cathedral Assembly Hall (15 S. 12th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902).
