"JR" Larry Lee White JR

“Jr” Larry Lee White, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of September 5, 2026. JR was born in Washington D.C. and then moved to Washington state with his parents and sister, in December 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Beckie White, his daughters, Renee (Jim) Hall, and Jessica (Tyler) Yoerger, his mother, Patricia White, and his sister, Missy Summerland. JR is also survived by his six beautiful grandchildren, Jimmy, Lacen, Addilynn, Dellah, Payton, and Reagan, and his two dogs, Bo, and Molly. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry White.

Larry graduated from East Valley High School in 1986, and married his wife, Beckie, in 1989. One year later, their eldest daughter, Renee, was born. Two years later, came their youngest daughter, Jessica.

J.R. enjoyed sipping his Tennessee Honey Whiskey and sitting by a big campfire, surrounded by family and friends. JR loved camping, fishing, and hunting. JR was looking forward to a big horn sheep hunt this October with his best friend and hunting buddy, Billy Sullivan.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 1:00-4:00pm, at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd St., Yakima). A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home.
