Linda Dianne Hardy

–

Yakima, Washington

Linda Dianne Hardy, 74 of Zillah, WA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

Linda is survived by her two daughters: Teresa (Joe) Fisher of Everett, WA and Michelle Gervasi and partner Duane Hurst of Zillah, WA, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Deanna (Gerald) Erickson, Randy Smith, Jenny (Clyde) Rindero and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda, the eldest of 5 children, was born on February 10, 1946 in Everett, WA. She was preceded in death by son Stanley Wood in 2018 and her husband DeWayne Hardy in 2007, as well as her parents Melvin and June Smith, her brother Curtis Smith and her niece Kimberly Devier.

Linda, grew up in Everett, WA and spent most of her adulthood in the Snohomish County area. With the encouragement of her brother Curtis, she became a beautician and practiced that many years.
Linda was also a talented seamstress and a great cook.

While attending the Kroeze Bros church with a friend in the late 80s, Linda met Jesus as her personal savior. She met DeWayne shortly after that and they married in March of 1990.

Linda and DeWayne loved to travel and soon found themselves with a motor home traveling across the states looking for new adventures and seeing the sights. She often would ask others, "Dont you just want to see what is beyond the next bend?"

In 2003 they discovered their perfect property in Zillah, where they settled down and enjoyed life at a slower pace. Linda loved eastern WA and tried to get everyone to move over there.

Linda, our mother/sister/grandmother/aunt, will be missed by those left behind, but we rejoice in knowing that, as believers in Christ, we will see her again.
