Neil Frederick Lentsch Obituary (2024)

Neil F. Lentsch, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, entered Heaven peacefully, on November 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old. Neil was born on March 27, 1948, to Fred and Dorothy Lentsch in Buffalo, New York. He shared an extraordinary 55-year marriage with his devoted wife, Marty Lentsch, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Neil was a proud father to five children, Sarah Wallis (Brian), Amy Smith (Neal), Jonathan Lentsch (Alyssa), Greg Lentsch (Peeraya), and Heidi Lentsch. He found immense joy in his eight grandchildren, Katelyn and Megan McCoy, Jaden Lentsch, Anna and Claire Smith, Adalie, Acadia, and Aviella Lentsch. An avid golfer, Neil found great pleasure in the sport and used it as an opportunity to connect with friends and family. Beyond the golf course, he loved photography, broadcasting, and advertising. He was known for his generous spirit and willingness to help others. Neil was a dedicated servant to multiple churches, using his technical expertise to support church productions and services. He was a passionate youth leader and an active participant in men's Bible studies, demonstrating his commitment to spiritual growth in the Lord. He touched the lives of many, making a lasting impact on his church communities. Neil is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Lentsch, and his brother, Terry Lentsch. He is survived by his brother, Curt Lentsch (Lina) and his extended family. Neil will be remembered for his passion for golf, his desire to serve, his technical skills, his love of family, and his unwavering faith. His legacy lives on through the many lives he influenced.
