Ronald L. Warner, Sr. went to Heaven on April 7, 2023, in Yakima, Washington. Pa was born on July 19, 1942, just shy of his 81st birthday to Leonard and Betty (Kemp) Goines, in Reno, Nevada.
He met the love of his life, Anna, and they were married on June 22, 1960. They would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this year. They were blessed with two sons, Ron, Jr. and Craig. At the start of their lives together, Pa was in the Air Force.
After serving, he worked at Yakima Co-Op, US Linen, Meals on Wheels, and the West Valley School District. Pa's greatest gift in life was the love he had for his family, unconditionally.
Pa is survived by his loving wife, Anna, sons Ron Jr.(Jean), Craig (Tami), grandchildren, Michele (John), Ronni Anne (Kyle), Jacob, Katie Ann (Jacob), Chris (Lexi), great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jordyn (Ty), Bailey, Kaylin, Brandy and Kolten, great-great-grandchild, DJ, brothers Bill (Lynn), Lenny (Geri), many nieces, nephews and too many friends to list. He is preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Whitey and Baca Bowman and his favorite aunt, Janice Babcock.
Our family would like to thank the EMT's, Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, and staff at YVMH Emergency Department.
A Viewing will be held at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N 2nd Street, Yakima, WA) on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 1:00-7:00 pm, with a Flag Ceremony at 3:00pm.
