Shirley 'SUGAR Erlene

Shirley Erlene Farrell (Sugar), age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. She was born in Denver, Colorado, to Ester Marie Kinney and Oliver Murray Taylor.
Shirley had a love for horses from a very young age, when her family was in the horse racing business, and carried on until she passed. She also loved to bake for everyone, and do embroidery. She loved going to Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Farrell, son Larry Farrell, her mother Ester Taylor, her father, Oliver Taylor, her brother Chuck Taylor, brother Don Taylor, and sister Mildred Lant.
She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Farrell, and Shawn Hunt, brother D.R. Taylor, grandsons, Mark Hunt, Daniel Garza, and granddaughter Breanna Parker.
Funeral service will be on Thursday April 27, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. With reception following at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home, 201 North Second St., Yakima, WA 98901.
