Shirley A. Jett

Shirley Ann Allen Jett went to her heavenly home on November 23, 2022.

Shirley was born in The Dalles, Oregon, to Harry and Myrtle (Byers) Wickman. In 1948, she married
Clayton Allen and began married life in Boardman, Oregon. Two children were born to them, Camille Louise, and Robert Duane.

Shirley was a long-time member of Yakima Covenant Church (formerly Westminster Presbyterian) and served over the years in many capacities. She had the joy of participating in two mission trips to Mexico with her church.

In 2004, Shirley married Frank (Bud) Jett. They had eleven years together before he passed.

Shirley is survived by a daughter, Camille (Ray) Getsinger, of Joseph, Oregon, and a son, Robert (Christy) Allen, of Seattle, Washington, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two nephews, as well as the Jett extended family. Two sisters also survive her, Mavis Ruddell, of The Dalles, Oregon, and Evelyn Wilkinson, of Kansas City, Missouri.

An Internment will be in the spring, at the Boardman, Oregon Cemetery.
