Theresa June Tillett

Theresa June (Anderson) Tillett passed away on November 13, 2022, at YVMH, holding her husband, Jack's hand, just two days before celebrating their 53rd year of marriage. Theresa lived with breast cancer for four years, at the same time protecting her family from the pain.

Theresa was born in Yakima, Washington, on September 14, 1951, to Delmar and Roberta Anderson. She attended Summitview Elementary and Naches Schools, graduating from Naches High School in 1970. After 20 years of handling fruit, Theresa retired from Allan Brothers.

Theresa had the kindest and most gentle heart. She never met a child that she didn't want to play with, she loved them all. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved animals, especially Funny Bunny and Max.

Theresa is survived by her husband, Jack Lee Tillett, her son, Kurt Lee (Tara), her daughter, Kari Lynn, grandsons, Shane (Ashley), and Cain, great-grandchildren, Monica, Lee, and Zoey, sisters, Linda De Young (Duane), and Denise Anderson. She is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, and cousins. Theresa is preceded in death by her father, Delmar Anderson, mother, Robelia Minion, sister, Sharon Anderson, and her special grandmother, Leona White. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 3:00-7:00pm at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd St., Yakima, WA 98901) A Funeral Service will be held at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 10:00am, followed by a Graveside Service at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. A Reception in her honor will follow the service, at the Fruitvale Grange (2908 Castlevale Rd, Yakima, WA).
