Wanda S Risley

–

Yakima, Washington

Wanda Sue Risley, age 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the home she shared with her beloved partner, Ron Browne.
Born on December 6, 1950, in Wallace, Idaho, to Cleo and Dallas Harris, Wanda was the 11th of 13 children. A proud 1969 graduate of Wallace Tech, she dedicated many years to housekeeping at Good Samaritan before retiring in 2012 to travel with Ron and soak up as much family time as possible.

Wanda is survived by her two sisters, Gladys and Faye. Her children, Teresa (Larry), Joe
(Tonya), Denise (Alex), and Kyle (Maria). Her 9 grandchildren: Brittany, Maria (EJ), Alex
(Mariana), Seth (Emily), Rose, Addison, Kayson, Maddilyn and Kolten. And many other precious family and friends.

Wanda’s family was her pride and joy. She was their biggest supporter, cherishing every
gathering, vacation, and milestone. Vegas and the beach were her favorite places. Anytime she could gamble or soak up the sun, she was happy. On game days she enjoyed cheering on the Seahawks and the Seattle Mariners (yes, even when they were doing terribly). You could always catch her yelling, “oh, come on” or “what’s going on out there” when her boys were on TV.

She will be remembered for her love of the color blue, her infectious laugh that sometimes
made her lose her teeth, her signature semi-sweet iced tea - always within arms reach, her
terminator style sunglasses - that she loved throughout every decade, but most of all for the unwavering love she had for everyone in her life.

Thank you for the memories. We know you are resting peacefully now, we love you forever.
