Wendee LaDean Peterson, a beacon of strength and love, departed this world on April 13, 2024, at the age of 51. Born in Lebanon, Oregon, on March 19, 1973, Wendee was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Susan Cramblett Walker. As the youngest of three siblings, Wendee's vibrant spirit and unwavering faith in Jesus defined her remarkable journey through life. Wendee's journey was marked by courage and grace as she battled ovarian cancer with unwavering determination. Despite facing immense challenges, her spirit remained unyielding, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her faith in Jesus sustained her, offering solace and hope in the darkest of times. Known for her boundless kindness and generosity, Wendee's love knew no bounds. Her acts of selflessness left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around her, embodying the true essence of compassion. Wendee's legacy of resilience and compassion shines brightly through her loving family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Peterson, and their three adoring daughters, Megan Lehman (Blake), Brittany Wilson (Quinlan), and McKinzee Peterson. Her grandson, Wyatt Lehman, held a special place in her heart, illuminating her life with boundless joy. Wendee is also mourned by her father, Thomas Walker, sister, Kimberly Rhoads, and brother, Thomas Walker Jr. (Rochelle), along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Susan Walker. As we bid farewell to Wendee, we celebrate a life well-lived, and a heart deeply loved. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:00pm, at CrossPoint Church in Yakima, Washington.
